Customer Testimonial
"I was amazed at Jake Folger's ability to train basic obedience to my blind and partially deaf Border Collie. In the first, one-hour session, my girl learned how to sit, lay down and stay on touch hand signals because she can hardly hear and cant see. Jake did not skip a beat from the beginning of the session until the end. He worked with my dog confidently and I could clearly see that Jake is a dog trainer like no other."

The "No" Class
Many behavioral problems can be stopped if you know how to communicate the word, "no" to your dog properly. Stop barking problems, tormenting the cat, getting into things, destruction of your personal items, nipping and play biting, jumping up on people and much more. Most humans do not know how to use the word "no" in an effective manner with their canine counterparts. In this one hour class, you will learn how to say "no" to your dog in an effective manner so that they will stop bad behavior. This is not just about saying the word, "no", but how to express it using a certain tone in your voice, body language and back-ups. No screaming, no frustration. Say "no" once and be done with it.
Basic Obedience
A one hour class working with you and your dog, our trainer, Doggy Jake, using positive training techniques, will teach up to 3 basic obedience behaviors or more. Choose from:
- Sit
- Lay Down
- Wait
- Stay
- Leave-it
Additionally you will learn how to continue to reinforce the obedience taught in this class with your dog so he or she can remember the training now and in the future.
Potty Training
In this one hour class, you will learn exactly how to potty train your puppy or dog quickly. End accidents indoors. Get your dog to eliminate quickly outdoors on command which is especially useful on cold, rainy days. End the frustration. End unpleasent surprises. This class is for the untrained puppy or dog who needs complete house training or for dogs that make an occasional mistake and every dog in between.
Crate Training
A crate is a small, enclosed space that is perfectly sized for your dog. If your dog is properly crate trained, he or she will love it like a wolf would love his den. The crate will not only be a place of comfort and refuge but can aid in the training of your dog considerably. Forcing a dog into a crate and locking him in it can be extremely harmful to your dog and his or her development. Proper crate training is neccessary for the crate to be helpful to you and a good place for your dog at the same time. In this one hour class, you will learn how to choose the proper crate for the breed and size of your puppy or dog; where to keep the crate in your home; how long you can leave your dog in the crate; how to help your dog learn that is a good place for him to be; and how to get your dog to go in it on command.
Advanced Obedience
Advanced obedience behaviors can include:
- Loose Leash Walking With Sit At Curbs
- Sit To Put On or Take Off Leash
- Go To Place and Lay Down
- Stay Out of Kitchen and Other Areas
- End Begging When You and Others Are Eating
- Come and Sit In Front of You When Called No Matter What
- Ride Respectfully In Your Auto and Stay Seated No Matter What, Even When You Get Out
Depending on the degree of complexity, you can expect your dog to learn between one and three advanced obedience behaviors in this one-hour class.
