Testimonial From Clicker Training Client, Aleetalynn
Schenesky of Washington, DC:
"Click-A-Pet's Clicker Training has been a wonderful and
rewarding experience for myself and my puppy Bumper. She learned three
new commands in just two and one half sessions and thouroughly enjoys
learning new behaviors and practicing her training. I highly recommend
Click-A-Pet's Clicker Training to anyone who wants positive obedience
results quickly without using abusive training methods."
Clicker Training employs a clicker (noise maker) to mark
behavior that you want from your pet. In the case of hearing impaired
pets, a light is used. When your pet earns a click, he or she gets a
treat. The treat can be something edible, affection or a favorite toy or
game. The clicker sends a clear, sharp signal to your pet that they
have done something right. The clicker is just like the camera-click
that captures the exact action you desire. Through this system, it is
quite possible to train just about any kind of animal to do just about
anything you want. And, best of all, animals love Clicker Training
because there is no abuse involved and it makes learning fun. Once your
pet learns the behavior you want, the clicker and treats can be faded
out of the picture.
